The Saintly Courier

The Saintly Courier is a Catholic snail mail subscription club focusing on saints and liturgical living. My intention is to put a smile on your face when you see the envelope of “happy mail” in your mailbox each month! I also want to encourage you to savor each moment of opening and reading your Saintly Courier, and to celebrate each month’s saint with intention and a little bit of whimsy.

The “snail mail” part of the subscription means that it is an opportunity to step away from screens and focus on faith, fun, and community. Our mailboxes are inundated with form letters, junk mail, and all things typed; this handmade monthly packet offers you a chance to feel a personal connection to our patron saints and to the others in our faith community.

What do I get in my subscription?

Each month I will also offer a Sunday Mass and a Rosary for all of my subscribers. Know that I will be praying for you as I write, paint, address, and fill each envelope as well!

When will my Saintly Courier arrive?

I will mail The Saintly Courier on the 20th of each month. Since it’s snail mail, it will take a few days to get to you, but you should receive it before the end of the month. I will feature the upcoming month’s saint in your Courier, so you will be all set to celebrate. (For example, in April I will mail out the May edition, so that it arrives before our May saint’s feast day!)

If you sign up before the 15th of the month, you will receive that month’s mailing. If you subscribe after the 15th, your Courier will start the next month.

If you have not received your Saintly Courier by the end of the month, or feel some postal error has occurred, please reach out to me at carah@saintlycourier.com and we will address the issue!

What if I need to change my address or cancel my subscription?

Can I send gift subscriptions to my godchildren, grandchildren, nieces & nephews, kids away at college, neighbors, best friends, worst enemies…?

Absolutely! Please use the links on the Subscriptions page to sign up for 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month subscriptions; I will include a gift note in the first month’s envelope acknowledging your (delightful!) generosity.

Will you ever repeat a saint?

As of this moment, nope! There are so many holy men & women in our community of believers that I am not currently planning to repeat any of their celebrations in The Saintly Courier. (I do reserve the right, however, to repeat a favorite patron saint in the case of huge demand from the subscribing masses.) 😉
